Earth Day is two weeks away and we're celebrating by giving away FREE Garden Kits to Spartanburg County families! Each kit includes a flower pot your children can design, a box of crayons to draw on the flower pot with, flower seeds and dirt for planting.
We have 1,000 kits up for grabs, and while they are free, you need to reserve the kits online and select your pick-up location (Cleveland Park, Tyger River Park, Lake Cooley, Timken Community Center, Chesnee Community Center or the Woodruff Leisure Center). **You can reserve one kit per child in your household.**
Pick-up will be on April 22nd, from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. and again from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Registration will close on April 19th, or until all 1,000 kits are claimed, whichever comes first.
